This program gives you everything you need to know to lead yourself on your own Vortex Tour. Pete Sanders is a Nationally recognized speaker and author who has lived in Sedona since 1980. He turned down Harvard Medical School to found his NonProfit Free Soul Mind/Body Education Program, because he felt the public deserved scientifically based training in the frontier of the human potential. In specific, his focus is sharing keys for how seekers can learn to be their own best teachers.
Mr. Sanders brings that same approach to this practical, down to Earth, presentation about Sedona's Vortexes. You will leave knowing how to easily and fully experience the spiritual power of Sedona to renew and reinspire your life.
Directions to Los Abrigados Resort Labyrinth
Coming from North (uptown Sedona & Oak Creek Cyn.) or West Sedona
At the “Y” Intersection (roundabout intersection of Hwy 89A and Hwy 179) head South out of the roundabout (on Hwy 179) and go down the hill. At the bottom the hill the road turns sharply to the left. Just after that bank left look on the right for Portal Lane. That is the entrance to the Los Abrigados Resort and the Institute of EcoTourism . Turn right into Portal Lane. Go past the stop sign to the Welcome/Guard Hut (parking is past the hut to the left – tell guard you are there for the Scientific Vortex Information Talk and/or to see the Labyrinth).
For the Labyrinth – Go past the hut (tell guard you are there for the Labyrinth) and turn left at the fountain. Look on the left for the walkway between the tennis courts and the basketball courts (that is the entrance to the Labyrinth). Park in the back parking area (near miniature golf).
Coming from South (Hwy 179 & Village of Oak Creek )
Take Hwy 179 past the King’s Ransom Hotel and the Hillside Shops. Follow Hwy 17 over the bridge (over Oak Creek ). Go past the entrances to the Telaquepaque (Mexican Village Style) Shops area (those entrances are large cobble stones). Immediately after Telaquepaque look for Portal Lane on the left. That is the entrance to the Los Abrigados Resort and the Institute of EcoTourism (if you get to where the Hwy 179 turns right – going up to the roundabout – you have gone too far). Turn left into Portal Lane.
